Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in wonderful Gothenburg, Sweden. I am an entrepreneur, and am creating the worlds largest running race. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a dad of four children, and have a love for nature and for sports in general, especially running and biking. In raising four children, I realize the importance and fun in being able to let go of work and spend time with the kids, something that always have been a challenge for me in the past. I enjoy being spontaineous, doing things as they come and in general, irrespective of what life gives, enjoy it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the church as my parents came into the church at an early age. I realize though, that the message of Christ and what he has done for every person in being able to bring them back to a Heavenly Father so that we can live forever together and as families, is breath taking and true. I have felt this many times and part of the plan of us being on earth is to be able to be led by our feelings to the truth. In Gods plan, he has given us the Holy Ghost who, through our feelings, will tell us where we can find this truth. Once you feel this feeling, it will remind you of something as though you have felt it before and it is a feeling of peace and of hopefulness. I am a mormon because these feelings have confirmed to me that Jesus Christ is our Saviour, that he lives and that he has given us a possibility to have true joy in this life and in the life to come. Through the bible, the Book of Mormon and the guidance of prophets on the earth today, I can see which decisions I need to make in life, and how I should make them. I love life, I love the gospel taught in the church, and I feel that I am given strength when I think of what Christ taught us, and when I help those around me come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

Other than going to church on a weekly basis, me and my wife get to work a lot with the youth of the church in Sweden in preparing a special youth conference for the whole of Scandinavia. We get to plan activities, service projects and we get to teach and help others understand what religion means to us. During the week I also get to meet with other members in the church, to both talk about the gospel and what difference it can make for us and how we can live it every day, as well as help out with everything from helping someone to move, cleaning to making a meal for someone.
