Hi I'm Amalie

I grew up traveling. I am an Elementary Education university student going into law. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Amalie. I am currently a college student, studying Elementary Education and preparing to apply to law school. I have lived in a few different countries and love traveling. My favorite hobbies are; rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the a Mormon. When I was young my best friends family chose to leave the church and no longer wanted to have anything to do with any members of the LDS church. This experience made me think a lot about why I was and am a Mormon. I finished reading the Book of Mormon at that point in my life and decided that I needed to be a Mormon not just because of my family, but because I had a testimony of the church. I prayed and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of God. I am a Mormon because, the LDS church is what I believe in. And I am a Mormon because the Mormon church bring happiness. And I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I love to serve those around me in whatever community I find myself in. I have not lived in the same place for very long since I was a little girl, and I have learned as I have traveled to different developing countries, the value of service. I love attending worship meetings every Sunday, and have had the privilege to observe the sabbath in many different languages and cultures. I always find the same peace an joy from attending meetings no matter where I'm at. To me the most important way I practice my beliefs is through my everyday interactions with those around me. I hope that those around me can see how I live my faith through my actions regardless of where I am or who I am with.
