Hi I'm AJ

I'm a father, Husband, and in the U.S. Armed forces. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been Mormon all my life but never served a Mission. Being in the Armed forces I have, however, traveled around the world. I have been to most continents and have met and become friends with people from all over the world with different cultures, backgrounds and religious beliefs.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ and that he is the son of God. He was sent to atone for our sins and to teach us to love one another. I know we were sent to this earth to gain a body and to learn, from our own mistakes and others. That we are here to exercise our free agency, and believe that all people are created equal and have the right to worship how, where or what they may. When people ask about how i live my life; why I do not drink alcohol , coffee or tea or why I seem so happy, I am always glad to share with them my beliefs and answer any questions they have. I am a Mormon because we are meant to be happy and true happiness, Joy, is found in this church. Although it may not be easy to follow Christ, it has brought me unfathomable joy to my family and me.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Armed Forces, I deploy all over the world but when I return home I spend my time with family and friends and participate in local charities. I am the Ward Mission Leader, which means I help the missionaries you see on the streets connect with the local community and church members. I also go out with the missionaries to get to know people who are curious about the church or want to meet a local Mormon.
