Hi I'm Sthephany Coutinho

I'm from Brazil. I'm a judo/rugby player, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm from Brasilia, Brazil. I'm only child and I'm studying Economics. I have no talents for music, but I love sports. I play judo since I was 6 years old, and I was part of the National Brazilian Judo Team. Next goal: compete in the Olympics! I also love to play rugby, which is hard for me to pick only one to focus on. I'm a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the new Idaho Falls Mission, and I have 2 more missions. Yes, 3 missions and 3 Mission Presidents! I served in the São Paulo West Mission while I was waiting for my visa, and in the Idaho Pocatello Mission, which just got split creating the Idaho Falls Mission! I love my missions, it's perfect in someway for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this Church is true. Joseph Smith was a Prophet called by God to restore the church of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is true and it is the keystone for our religion. Every single day, my testimony is growing up as I study the scriptures, and through my prayers. I love this Gospel and the changes it does in our lives! How wonderful is to know that God loves us!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through being obedient to God's commandments and following the instructions from the leaders in the church. I read the scriptures every day, and I'm a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a missionary I share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and help people to come unto Jesus Christ, showing them there is always hope for who believes! As a missionary I can help these people to feel God's love for them, and to feel the true happiness in their lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
