Hi I'm Grant

I enjoy backpacking and cycling. I love to learn. I am all about service. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love everything cycling. Road cycling, mountain biking and even uni-cycling. Hiking and mountaineering are a recent hobby, but I've always loved the outdoors and being active. I am also interested in flight and hope to get a pilot's license someday. I'm an aspiring engineer. I will pursue this career through Brigham Young University - Provo when I get back from my mission in Rome, Italy in 2018. I've always enjoyed helping people because people have helped me a lot. Family is the most important thing to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Despite having been born and raised in the church, I choose to be Mormon so that I can strengthen my relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Jesus loves us and wants us to use the Atonement so that we might again join him someday. He's given us a true and living prophet for these days, so that we can have guidance to help us along the path of righteousness. This is because I know that the prophet stands as the spokesperson of the Lord for the world. I am a Mormon because I need the daily blessing of inspiration and comfort through the Holy Ghost. Above all though I am a Mormon because I know that this is the only church in which I can be with my family for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I struggle like all others, but I take it as an opportunity to learn and grow. I try to teach others through example. It's the little things that people don't notice all the time that can mean the most. I always try to do my best in whatever I do and seek opportunities to become more Christ-like. Our desires and efforts are more important than our actual works. I love to serve people and help them. If there is to be a service project, I want to be involved.
