Hi I'm Jacob

I grew up in Utah. I have been called as an LDS Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am18 years old. I have spent the last three years developing my talents as a film maker and special effects artist. I am an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. It is my dream to someday make professional films and Mormon Message videos. I have been called to serve as a Missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, assigned to labor in the Texas San Antonio Mission, Spanish Speaking.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because nothing has brought greater joy to my life than knowing and feeling the love that the Lord Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father have for me. I wouldn't trade my knowledge and testimony of the gospel for anything in the world. Sharing the gospel with others is without a doubt my number one favorite thing to do in this life. I am a Mormon because I know that my Father in heaven loves and is aware of me and has a specific plan set in store for me. I am a Mormon because I know that the teaching and principles of Christ's church are more true than anything else that will ever be taught. I am a Mormon because I love my Father and His son Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ has played such in influential role in my life. It has lead me to great things, and continues to do so. The gospel is a perfect guideline of what I should be doing in this life. I am a Mormon because I know that through obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel, I will someday gain exaltation and once again live with my Father in my rightful place in the Kingdom of Heaven. When asked why I think my church is true, my answer is simple; "My church isn't true. Christ's church is true, and I just decided to join it."

How I live my faith

I am heavily involved in the community as well as in the church. I am leaving to serve a 2 year mission in San Antonio, Texas. I try every day to help bring the Spirit of the Lord to my life and the lives of others. I find service to be one of the most fulfilling ways to spend my time. There is rarely a day when I am not helping someone with something. I attend an LDS seminary class on a day to day basis, where I try to help my knowledge and testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
