Hi I'm Susanne

I grew up in So. California, moved to So. Utah, currently waiting to go on a senior mission with my husband to New Zealand.

About Me

I am a mother of 10 children, 6 boys and 4 girls and a grandma to 25 beautiful, active grandkids. I have started 2 retail businesses, own and run 23 rentals, and very much a prepper preparing for the possibility of disaster that might happen in our area. Currently we are preparing for a 2 years senior mission to New Zealand Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and sort-of raised a Mormon. My family was inactive my whole life so I had to go to church all by myself as a child. The ward members were very kind to me and would always invite me to sit with them. I had to find rides to Church each Sunday (twice because Sunday School was in the morning and Sacrament Meeting was at night) Then I would have to find rides to and from MIA each Tuesday. When I was 14 years old my family moved to Southern Utah. My family still remained inactive and I still went to Church all by myself but know we lived close enough to the Chapel that I could walk. I would always go do Baptisms for the dead when the opportunity came. My family never had Family Home Evening, prayed together or any other Church stuff. That didn't stop me! I would go to friends houses or do it myself. One of the goals I set for myself was that I wanted to be married in the Temple to a Returned Missionary. Well, in 1972 that goal was fulfilled. I married a wonderful Returned Missionary in the St. George Temple. We raised 10 kids together and when our last baby left on his mission to California, we became Temple Ordinance Workers. We served there for 4 1/2 years before we decided it was time to go on our own mission.

How I live my faith

When we were first married, we talked about going on a mission together when finished raising our children. After 44 years of raising 10 children, that time has finally come to serve the Lord. We sent our 6 boys and 2 of our girls on missions and now it is our turn to go. We have served 4 1/2 years in the St. George, Utah Temple and now look forward to serving 2 years in the Hamilton New Zealand Temple.
