Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and was baptized at the age of 8. but since then I have acquired my own testimony. It wasn't an easy thing because of all the many trials and hardship I have encountered. but it is because of these trials and hardships that I gained a stronger testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ and his Atonement. I know that the book of Mormon was translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith by the power of God. I know it for I have read it, and have felt the power of the Holy Ghost manifesting the truth of it unto me. I know that we have a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is the Lords kingdom once again established in all the face of the earth. I know that families are forever. I know that its through making and keeping sacred covenants that enables us to all the many blessings that our Heavenly Father has in stored for us all. I know that Heavenly Father lives, and Jesus is the Christ. I'm proud to be a Mormon

How I live my faith

Every morning, I wake up thanking our Heavenly Father for his countless blessings. I try my very best to be a true follower of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know my imperfections, so everyday I strive to obtain Christ-like attributes so I can be the best I can be. Growing up, many of my friends fell away from the church or wasn't a member, so I try to be an example to them by holding firm to the iron rod and to my faith. Now that I'm currently a representative of Jesus Christ serving in the Iowa Des Moines mission I've come to realize the significant of the atonement of Jesus Christ. I love helping other receive the restored gospel, because it truly brings happiness, joy, & peace in our lives. Forever be teaching repentance and baptizing converts.
