Hi I'm Cade

I'm a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the Japan Tokyo Mission.

About Me

I'm a young adult, the oldest of six kids. I grew up in the church. After my mission I will attend college at either Utah State or BYU. I love sports, especially running, soccer, and racquetball. I'm also an avid reader, my favorite author is Brandon Sanderson. I was the Student Body President of my High School. I have a pet dog at home, her name is Princess Racecar. Currently, I want to be an astronaut when I grow up.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I grew up in the church, my parents are both active members of the church. I have prayed often to know if the church, the Book of Mormon, and the gospel are true, and each time I receive a confirming answer from my Father in Heaven that yes, it is true. There was a time when I wasn't living the gospel righteously, when I wouldn't read the Book of Mormon or pray. During that time I felt sad, depressed, and alone and my relationships with my family suffered. I realized that the gospel is what brings true happiness, and as you keep the commandments, read the Book of Mormon, and pray often you will receive peace and confidence in your life. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that he translated the Book of Mormon. I know that we have a current and living prophet today. I know without a doubt that Christ suffered for everyone's sins, and because of this Atonement we can all be forgiven and saved and live with Him and Heavenly Father. I know this is true, so I am choosing to serve a mission. It is why I am serving, to share the light and happiness I feel when I am living the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission! I have left behind all other worldly affairs to serve the Lord in Japan. He has called me there to spread the sweet and everlasting message of the Atonement and His gospel. I am serving in Japan for two years, working to help others come unto Christ.
