Hi I'm Ian Eschenberg

I'm a native to Southern California. Called to serve an LDS mission in Curitiba Brazil. I play volleyball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My greatest passion is playing the sport of volleyball. I have played since middle school and will be going to UCLA to play for the men's volleyball program. I also enjoy mechanics and working on cars. I am an Eagle Scout and have plenty of experience in service and leadership. I was called to serve in the Brazil Curitiba South mission with the departure date of August 9, 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the restored true and full church here on earth. I love my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost. I love being close to them and serving them here on Earth. I know that my Heavenly Father loves my and I appreciate the blessings I receive when I obey His commandments. I know what my purpose is here on Earth and I know I can fulfill that purpose through practicing the teachings of the Mormon Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every week and partaking of the sacrament. Each morning I go to early morning seminary where I study scripture from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Every month I visit teach families from my ward and teach them gospel principles. Everyday I conduct myself with high moral standards and abstain from drugs and alcohol. I live a chaste life and avoid using inappropriate language.
