Hi I'm Judy

My father was in the military so I grew up in many places teaching me to bloom where I was planted!

About Me

I am a wife of 47 years, a mom of 8 and grandma to 21 delightful grandchildren. I enjoy being with them all! I love to read, sew (when I have time), putter around in my yard and my passion, other than my family, is history. I love learning about the past--mostly about the people and the lives they led. I will jump at any opportunity to serve especially if it involves children. AND--I love dogs!

Why I am a Mormon

Though I am a seventh generation Mormon I had to find my own testimony. It wasn't until I was 23 that I decided to study the Book of Mormon. It was a profound experience as I learned for myself that the Book of Mormon and the gospel were true. I have read it many times over the years and I feel the spirit of it every time. I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that He lives and that through Him, and if I remain faithful, I can return one day to be with Him and my Father in Heaven and be blessed with an eternal family.

How I live my faith

I love working with and for children. For fifteen years I volunteered with an organization that raised money for our local children's' hospital. When my children were in school I was their biggest cheerleader as they participated in many different activities. I have taught all ages in various church organizations. To feed my love of history I have been a docent at the Church History Museum in Salt Lake City for many years. I am grateful for the time I have been given to do so many things that I love.
