Hi I'm Chris Richins

I live in a small town in Utah where practically everyone is related. I love spending time with my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My nickname is "Foghorn" or just simply "Fog". I received this name because I am outgoing, I love to meet people, talk to people, and make them feel important. I never go without telling someone hi. I look out for the underdog, and am quick to bring them in my circle of friends. I am active in sports; football, basketball, track and baseball. Being a part of a team is important to me because it brings everyone together for one common goal and that is to unite as brothers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. I have grown up in the gospel, my feet are firmly planted in it, and I believe in the things that are taught. I have parents that have taught me to live the gospel to the fullest, to embrace church callings, and to know what I stand for. I look forward to wearing a missionary badge on my chest and having the constant knowledge of who I am and, not only the family name I bear, but the name of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my ward, and now single adult branch. I enjoy going out and hometeaching many of the families in my community and getting to know their families and needs. It has been fun to attend the single award branch and see many friends that have graduated before me, and returned from their missions as well. I have wonderful friends, that are always encouraging and challenging me to be my best at all times. I am preparing to serve my mission in the Australia Brisbane Misson, and leave on July 13. I have 12 friends preparing to serve also, and about 3 more turning their papers in soon. It is friends like this that has kept me strong in the gospel.
