Hi I'm Marie

I am a retired elementary music teacher who enjoys sharing music with everyone. I am a dog lover. I love to cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired elementary music teacher of 28 years. I love sharing my enthusiasm for music with everyone I meet. I enjoy reading historical novels. I love to cook. I enjoy making people happy through food. My co-workers at school would always be delighted when I brought in new recipes to try. I have worked with young people all my life. I am married with three grown children, four grandchildren and one great grandson.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. I have always wanted to learn more about the church and its doctrine. I love the fact that I married my husband for time and all eternity. Being married in the temple has given me true joy, knowing my family will be with me always. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ has given me strength through difficult times. I feel I am happier because of the gospel and my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. No matter where I go in the world, there is a closeness to the members that gives me support, strength, and happiness. There is a bond with them that is felt. Knowing the principles of the gospel helps me keep my faith and strengthens my determination to live the gospel more fully. It gives me hope in times of sorrow and despair. I am able to share how I feel with others as they want to know more about why I am so happy.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to live my life so others may see the good things I do and want to know more about me and why I am so happy. Music has been a part of my life ever since I was a small child. It gives me great joy to share my talents with others. That's why I became a teacher. I love working with children and young people. I've been able to participate in several special music events that has given me such joy.
