Hi I'm Nick

I'm half American, half Chinese and I grew up in Singapore. I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love all sorts of activities from outdoor sports such as football, basketball and diving to time with friends and family at home. I spent 2 years in the Navy after completing high school which developed my love for the water. I also used to do pole vaulting throughout my school years which was something I enjoyed very much. My favourite pastime would be laying in bed and watching a good movie or TV show.

Why I am a Mormon

I have seen many blessings and miracles in my life that have been a result of my faith and the faith of others. The reality of blessings through His gospel is something that I cannot deny. Having grown up in the Church, I've noticed that all the men in my life that I look up to all have one thing in common, and that is the foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ in their homes. And as a result of that realization I've studied and learned more about the Gospel, gaining a testimony of its truthfulness. I know my Saviour lives and that this church is the same church that Jesus Christ organized during his ministry here on Earth. I love the gospel and everything about it. It makes me experience feelings of joy, love and peace, emotions in my heart that would in no other way be felt. I know that God is real and always remember that He loves you.

How I live my faith

I've previously had the opportunity to teach the primary children ages 5-6 and I loved it so much! They are amazing disciples of Jesus Christ. I appreciated the lessons that I had the chance to teach them and in doing so, I learned so much more in return. On many occasions, I've been blessed with opportunities to do service projects in and outside the Church which count for many spiritual experiences that I'm truly grateful for. Throughout my years in the Church, part of my assignment includes visiting families from the congregation together with my dad. I'm so thankful for the chance to serve and fellowship with one another, especially together with my dad. There is truly no greater experience than the feeling you get from serving those around you.
