Hi I'm Eldon Vaughn Wilcox

I'm a 64-year-old Idaho Latter Day Saint still going through the conversion process. I love the Savior Jesus Christ and His gospel

About Me

I am a father of seven and grandfather of 20 . I love working outdoors, whether it's in the garden, or in the forest, or out in the yard . Even though retired I keep busy helping my neighbors and helping my family. For fun I enjoy athletic events and personally I like to throw the frisbee. I do enjoy making things with my hands and fixing and repairing little things . Life is good when I am busy .

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, answers more questions about more things than any other faith I know . To live with God in the celestial kingdom many requirements are made upon us in terms of energy, faith, and obedience. And the beauty of the gospel is that we can choose the kingdom that we want to live in , that we're worthy to live in. I believe that God rewards us according to how much we choose to believe in and follow Him. His gospel of love is all inclusive, and is beautiful because he includes everyone that chooses Him. His grace is for all, and he wants us all to return to Him, if we so choose. Revelation of things past, of things current , and of the future will be ours if we seek it, and the enlightenment to our minds and hearts will be absolutely fascinating. I believe our Lord will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to his kingdom.

How I live my faith

The best day of the week is the Sabbath . I really enjoy meeting with the Saints and participating in good classroom discussions. Renewing sacramental covenants is a treat each Sabbath day. Service in the temple is especially enjoyable . The spirit in the temple is an especially significant blessing each week. When conference rolls around every six months, it is a blessing to hear the prophets and apostles speak. The word is good.
