Hi I'm Kaitlyn

Born and raised in Utah, called to serve in the Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission, Spanish speaking, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn, I am 19 years old, 2nd oldest of 7 children, and I am currently serving in the Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission, speaking Spanish. I love sharing my testimony and am so blessed to have grown up in a family strong in the gospel. I absolutely love the outdoors, running, biking, hiking, smiling, playing the piano, eating, and looking at the clouds. After my mission I will continue my college education and have hopes of becoming an Athletic trainer. This Gospel is the highlight of my life and I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing it with others.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in an LDS family in Utah the gospel has always played a large role in my life. It wasn't until I moved away to college and was away from my family that I realized I had taken for granted the life I had grown up in. Being away from all my loved ones left me feeling very lonely and caused me to turn to Christ for comfort. This experience taught me that Christ is always there when I need him and showed me the joys which the gospel brings in the lives of those who seek Him out. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and know that Joseph Smith truly was a prophet called of God to restore the church in these latter days. I know that this is true with all my heart and that is reason that I decided to serve a mission.

How I live my faith

I try my best to share my faith through my actions. I am not perfect and have so much to work on, but I know that every day I can improve and become closer to Christ. Through reading my scriptures, praying, going to the temple every week, and attending church meetings and institute, my testimony will continue to grow and I will improve every day. Trials will always come no matter how closely we stick to the path, but I know that through Christ I will be able to overcome all things.
