Hi I'm Jared Jensen

I am an identical twin. I have lived in many places in the United States and love playing sports. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids in my family, and I am an identical twin. I have just graduated from high school and have been accepted to BYU Provo. I love playing sports, but I ran cross country and track for the school. I am an Eagle Scout and was the Vice President of the National Honor Society of my high school. I work two tutoring jobs in my community. I tutor students in math and science. I have recently received my LDS mission call and will leave for Rancangua Chile in July. I cannot wait to serve the Lord for two years in Chile!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it brings knowledge and great joy to my life. It makes me happy! Through personal scripture reading and much prayer, I know that The Holy Bible, The Book of Mormon, Doctrine of Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price are all true books of scripture, and they all testify of Jesus Christ. Because of this, I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I also have a testimony of Joseph Smith and the Restoration of the Gospel. Being a member of this church brings me much joy because I know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I have been attending morning seminary for four years. I also attend Wednesday night church activities and attend church on Sunday. I do not swear and do my best to not gossip. I listen to good music and watch appropriate movies and TV shows. I have a habit of reading my scriptures, the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon, and I pray everyday. I recently was a member of the Stake Youth Committee, which was a group of teenagers who met together to plan service projects, youth activities, and dances for the teenagers of the Church. In a few months, I will be on a LDS mission in Chile for two years preaching the gospel and serving the people there!
