Hi I'm Erin Howard

I grew up in Rigby, Idaho. I love to play soccer and tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've just finished my first year of college! I love hanging out with my friends and spending time with my family namely my niece and nephews. Soccer, tennis, hiking.. basically anything outside is my favorite!

Why I am a Mormon

A day after my birthday in 2014 my only grandfather I've ever known passed away. It came as a complete shock. Besides only having one leg because of a horse riding accident he was healthy. This was an extremely hard time for my family and I. We all loved him so much. But now as I look back on that trial I see it as one of the greatest blessings my family/I have received. Even though it was hard it brought my family even closer than before. I began to hear my families testimony's of the gospel and more specifically how confident they were that they would see him again. This began the process of me wanting to know for myself. I wanted to know that my grandpa was in a better place and that he was watching over me. After prayer and promptings from the Holy Ghost I was able to feel and gain the confidence my family has. I know that my grandpa is in a better place. I know that he is watching over me. I know that because of this gospel I will see him again. This became the base of my testimony. As the years have gone on I've learned to grow in faith. Relying on the Savior in hard times and remembering him in the good ones. I know I am a daughter of God and He loves me, more then I could ever comprehend.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by dedicating 18 months of my life to serve as a full time missionary for the church in Missouri. I've never seen my self serving a mission so when I first received the prompting from the Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost to serve a mission I didn't know how to react. I always thought I'd just get married and start a family and raise missionaries; obviously Heavenly Father has a different plan for me. Before serving a mission I was a visiting teacher, ages 12-18 when being in the Young Women's program I was in various positions within the presidencies. I attended seminary all 4 years of high school and was able to graduate along with my friends.
