Hi I'm Christine

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time mother to two amazing children. I have a business degree and i'm a qualified chartered accountant. I enjoy travelling, reading, walking, board games, the outdoors, spending time with family and good friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply, because it makes me happy. It sounds cliche but it's true. Through the experiences and people that exist in my life because I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints I have experienced more joy and contentment than any other time in my life. It really is that simple. I am surrounded, weekly by other people that want to be the best that they can be in all aspects of their life. They inspire me to be better. Without my membership in the church I wouldn't have met my incredible husband and have my wonderful children. I know why i'm here, I know what my purpose is and I know that there is a God that loves me and wants the best for me. I know that He cares about me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others within and outside of my church. I try to have an attitude of service, constantly looking out for ways I can help and uplift other in little ways throughout my day. I also love the visiting teaching programme in my church. With a partner I visit certain people in my church each month which is a great basis for an instant friendship and opportunity to look for ways to help. In my opinion, serving others helps me to develop a connection and love for others and is acting in a way that Christ would want me to do. The experiences i've had with other women through the visiting teaching programme is completely unparalled in terms of the spiritual, uplifting experiences and friendships i've gained. Throughout my time as a member of my church i've helped with the programme that runs for the women of the ward, by organising activities and lessons on a Sunday. I've also participated in the programme for the youth, by providing support, a weekly activity and a Sunday lesson. I'm currently fortunate to be involved in the children's programme, supporting the youngest nursery aged children.
