Hi I'm Sydney

Grew up in a small town. Dancing is what I love. Now going to the South to share the gospel. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a strong passion to dance and to influences others through my dancing. I also love being outdoors. Snow skiing, wake boarding, hiking you name it. I also have a not so secret love to do math. This past year I experienced my first year away from home as I attended my fist of college. I have given all that up for the next 18 months to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I come from a happy family of 8 and I love them all so much. Family is one of the best things of this life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me a happier and better person. I love Jesus Christ and God and I know that They love me. Being a "Mormon" helps me grow closer to Them through faith, repentance, baptism, and the power of Christ's Spirit. I don't have defining moment when I knew that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true, it just happened. As I prayed and read the scriptures daily my knowledge and testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ grew. And as my faith increased so did my desire to do what was right. As I have faced difficult times and made wrong choices I have been able to come back to the gospel and find strength through Jesus Christ and His love and sacrifice for me. I know He is there and that He loves each of us. Because Jesus and God love us They have granted us the privilege of having prophets just like in the days of Christ. Starting with Joseph Smith Jr. down to President Thomas S. Monson. This gospel has brought me more joy than anything in my life. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have grown up in the LDS Church my entire life and what a blessing that has been. It is not always easy to follow the Savior but I know that as I have stumbled and fallen Jesus Christ has been there to lovingly pick me up and brush me off. And I have been blessed to help others in a similar way, as I have served as a leader to other youth at the young age of 13 and 17. As I have gotten a little older I have had the chance to visit with other young single college women and serve them.
