Hi I'm Joshua Bolier

Raised in Northern California. Avid runner, basketball player, and snowboarder. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Currently a college student enrolled as a Chemical Engineer. It is my goal to eventually work my way to a position of business leadership/management within a leading bio-medical or oil firm. As far as hobbies, I enjoy the outdoors. You could catch me running, biking, playing basketball, or long-boarding. During the winter, my favorite activity becomes skiing and snowboarding, while during the summer, I find fun in camping and boating. Recently, I have found an interest in reading as well. My favorite sports team would be the Auburn Tigers football team.

Why I am a Mormon

As a convert to church I have often received this question. The answer is simple. I am a Mormon because this is God's church on the Earth today. As a Mormon, my relationship with my Heavenly Father, and Savior, Jesus, has become something I cherish and wish all could have. This life is meant to be enjoyed, and as a member of this church, I have a greater purpose and experience more complete happiness. I will always be grateful that a friend of mine introduced me to this church because it has truly impacted me in a positive way. The power of the Savior is tremendous as He can help us improve each and every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the small things. I try my best to observe the Sabbath day, keep the commandments in my daily life, and treat others with respect. Within the church I have held various callings, such as setting up the sacrament meeting, organizing events, and teaching classes in church. I will soon be leaving on a two year mission to serve the Lord. Aside from these, I believe that learning is one of the greatest tools we possess. With that said, I try to not only enhance my knowledge in the classroom, but also within the scriptures and word of the prophets.
