Hi I'm Brent

I grew up in an Air Force Family, I also served in the Air Force. Love to see the world and its people. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of six siblings. My father was a pilot in the US Air Force, and we lived in many places while I was young, including Okinawa and France. I graduated from college and joined the US Air Force as a navigator in cargo aircraft. I developed a love of travel and have been to 49 US states all 7 continents and 110 countries. After retiring from the Air Force I taught AFJROTC in High School for many years. I am married with 3 grown children and 5 grand kids. I like to camp, cruise, take care of my lawn and go to college sporting events.

Why I am a Mormon

BECAUSE: Because, I believe that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, His Son, and the Holy Ghost are real distinct individuals and that is what the Church teaches. Because, we have latter-day prophets to lead us and guide us. Because, we are organized in the same way Christ organized His church. Because, we have temples so that I can be sealed forever to my wife and children. Because, I know how to have a personal relationship with my Father in Heaven through prayer and obedience. Because, I have a testimony that God lives as does His Son, Jesus Christ our Savior, that we have a prophet who is chosen by God to lead us, the book of Mormon is scripture and true in its teachings and most importantly that I am a Child of God and He loves me.

How I live my faith

Through the years I have served in many different positions, teaching young kids, teens, and adults, supervising groups of men and twice was called to lead congregations as a Bishop. I have been a leader over youth groups that have given thousands of hours of community service. Presently I serve in a position that oversees over 100 single adults over 31 years of age. I constantly try to live the commandments of our Heavenly Father seeking His help in all that I do.
