Hi I'm Kendall

I grew up in the church in Utah. I have lived in Montana and Idaho and I served a mission in Brazil in 1968

About Me

I love to fish and to rive ATV's. The latter is what I do the most. I also enjoy golfing and shooting. I love being with my grandchildren and I have 7 children and 23 grandchildren. I worked for 40 years in the drug industry with a company that was a wholesaler and supplied pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter items to pharmacies and hospitals. I attended Rick's College when it was called Rick's College not BYU-Ricks.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the church and enjoyed being so. As a youth I loved the activities that I did with friends in the youth activities. They are some of my fondest memories. My mom and dad took me to church as a child but never forced me to go. I went because I loved being there with my friends. Eventually, I decided to serve a mission when I was 19 and was called to serve in Brazil for 2 1/2 years. Again this was my decision. I just really felt the desire to be out there and share the gospel with others. It was a tremendous experience. One that I will cherish forever.. I met many wonderful people and was able to preach the gospel to several who joined the church and found happiness in being a member. The church is so family oriented and teaches a great way of life. I have often told my children I don't think there is any other organization that can give you happiness and closeness to your family. It is a great way of live. Through my years my testimony has grown and I have strived to be a good member serving my fellowmen and being an example to my children of what Christ would want them to do. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that we have a living prophet of the church now. My wife and I are going out on a mission in 30 days to serve the Lord and the people and we do this because we know it is true. Otherwise, we could never leave our kids, that we love dearly, for 18 months

How I live my faith

I have been active in my religion all of my life. I have been a part of many different opportunities in the church. I have worked with the youth a lot attending a lot of camps and youth activities. I have been involved with the adults also in serving in various organizations in the church and associating with the members. For the last two years we have done a massive neighborhood carnival which I have played and active role in seeing it happen. It has been a great social and well attended. I have been a home teacher of one family in my neighborhood since 1985 and have a very close relationship with them. I have also conducted funerals for 12 of my ward members and close friends. They were each a very spiritual experience.
