Hi I'm Ted Langston

I was raised in Mesa Arizona. I joined the Church on June 14, 1969. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my best Friend for Time and all eternity and we have 1 daughter, 2 foster daughters, 3 sons, 24 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. While working for a copper mining corporation, I was an Electrician for 24 years and a Designer/Draftsman for 12 years. I'm currently serving in the Ohio Cleveland Mission in the St Marys Branch.

Why I am a Mormon

In 1969 I started having some questions about my beliefs so i started asking the leaders of my church. I did ot have a good feeling with the answers they gave me. The first day of the second semester of college I met the most beautiful girl and she asked me the golden questions, "Do you known about the Mormons? Would you like to know more?" I took the missionary lessons and, after a lot of opposition from my family and many prayers, I received conformation that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints is the only true church on the earth today. I bear testimony that my Father in Heaven loves me and knows me, that Jesus is my Savior and in the Holy Ghost who is here to help me.

How I live my faith

First being called the "Old Man" in our town because of my love for and support o, the youth and having been their biggest fan for 36 years, my title has been changed in the past ten years to "Papa Ted". When I get back from our mission I'll start yelling at the ballgames for the third generation. I have served in the Church as a Youth Leader, Primary Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Home Teacher, Stake Missionary, Ward Mission Leader, and a Bishop. I try to set a good example to everyone I meet.
