Hi I'm Preston Armstrong

I'm from a small town in Idaho, I love to play sports of all kinds, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town with only 300 kids in my high school. I love to play football and all other sports with my friends and family. I have two brothers, one older and one younger. You can always find me with my friends. In high school I was the student body president. I am an Eagle Scout. I like to go hunting, hiking, and camping. I plan on going to BYU Idaho when I get back from serving my two year mission in New Delhi, India.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons, I grew up in the LDS church but I have come to know for myself that it is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that it testifies of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He lives, and he atoned for our sins so that we may make it back to live with him again. Because I know the Book of Mormon is true I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. He was an honest and faithful man, who truly did see Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ in the Sacred Grove. I know that the prophet Joseph Smith restored the true church to this earth. And I know that it is organized and run by Heavenly Father himself, through our loving prophet Thomas S. Monson. I love this gospel and the things it teaches me. It gives me hope, and it helps me to know that through the blessings of the temple my family can be together forever. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way back to our Father in heaven. I know all of this by the feeling of peace, comfort, and direction I get from the Holy Ghost. It is a feeling I cannot deny.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday and trying to live the principles I learn there. I have great leaders who teach me the things need to know about my Savior, Jesus Christ. I strive to live like him and follow his commandments. I go home teaching once a month to the people in my ward and community. I try to share with them my testimony and the things that I know are true.
