Hi I'm Scarlett

I'm from Florida. I'm a university student. I love music, languages, and travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Florida girl who loves the beach. I believe everyday should be filled with family, music, laughing, and fun. I love to sketch the world around me. I am a bookworm and an avid learner. I speak English, Spanish, and French. I love learning new languages so I come to truly understand who people are. I love making new friends. I love adventures and discovering new things. I love to dance around even when there is no music. I love smiling and helping those around me to smile as well. My greatest dream is to make a better difference in the world. I love children and want to help them obtain their greatest potential by providing them the resources they need. I am a promoter of education, service, and family unity. I love my family to infinity and beyond. I can't imagine life without them.

Why I am a Mormon

Before joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I was uncertain if there was a God. I saw the world devastated with pain and did not believe that there could be a God that could allow such a thing. I sought an answer as to why we were even here on this Earth. Although I was brought up to pray, I hadn't ever received an answer and decided that God just wasn't there. In the midst of this confusion, I felt something was missing. How could it be that over 7 billion people were on the earth yet no one could tell me why we were here? How could it be that we just simply die and disappear? These answers just did not make sense. So one day, in almost a plea I decided to pray. I needed help and no one could help me, but I just simply hoped that maybe someone was out there. My prayer wasn't anything fancy, it was simply sincere. My life changed that day as I received an answer so solely suited to me that I was perplexed to think God might actually be out there. It was then that I decided to find the answers to my lifelong questions once and for all. It wasn't until I met the missionaries that I did. They explained to me what I felt when I received my answer to my prayer that one day was the Holy Ghost. I learned about a God that was loving. He provided his children freedom and the ability to learn, develop, and grow into strong beings by giving them the chance to come to live on this Earth. He even provided them a perfect example, his son Jesus Christ. Christ understands every pain and sorrow anyone has ever gone through and he can provide the healing every person needs. We are promised the opportunity to return to live with God and to be with our loved ones forever. We are given numerous opportunities to accept this truth with the hope that everyone will be united in Heaven for all of eternity to experience the wonderful joy of being part of an eternal family. And we have the chance to feel of that joy now here on this Earth too. For this reason, I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary in Canada Montréal. I love being able to tell people about the hope and happiness God has to give them. They get to have a strong relationship with our loving Heavenly Father by conversing with him daily through prayer. They can turn to the scriptures to find peace and answers to their worries. They learn to build eternal relationships with their families and friends. Together we learn to live life in a manner of happiness by having faith in Jesus Christ.
