Hi I'm Naomi

I am a Neonatal Nurse. I am going to serve a mission in Chile as mission nurse specialist. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Preston, England. At University I studied Paediatric Nursing and have now specialised in Neonatal Nursing. I see so many miracles every day in my job as I have the opportunity to work with premature and sick babies requiring intensive care. I also enjoy ice skating, martial arts and travelling. I love to visit new countries and learn about different cultures. I have been called to serve a mission in Chile and will be serving for 18 months as mission nurse specialist. I'm so excited to learn Spanish and participate in this work.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon to be true. I know that God and Jesus Christ designed this earth so that we can experience trials and challenges that would shape and prepare us to be with them again someday. I love my Saviour, Jesus Christ and know that he atoned for all of our sins so that we can again be free of pains and guilt. As we truly come unto Christ with a desire to be like him, he will bless our lives and tell us how we should live. I have prayed to know what God would have me do and continue to ask him how I can be better. I know that through the atonement we can all eventually become better and more Christlike.

How I live my faith

Before receiving my mission call, I served in my stake at church as Young Women's President. I loved teaching the young women about Christlike attributes and enjoyed working with them in striving to become more like him. Every month we held a youth activity where our stake young men and women would gather to learn, grow and have fun together.
