Hi I'm Nick

I'm an artist, I love music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I haven't lived outside of Utah very much, so I grew up in a largely LDS community. I have developed a love for art and music, and I plan on becoming an animator, touching people's lives with my stories.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church, so it was easy for me to accept the gospel, because my parents are such great spiritual pillars in my life. I have also felt Jesus' love for me many times. More often than not through music and art, since that's what I feel for the most. Every time I listen to or recite in my head 'A Child's Prayer', I feel the spirit so strongly, saying He IS there, and he hears your prayers, and blesses you in time of need.

How I live my faith

I have a calling as a missionary, as well as a ward visitor. I go around with other ward members to visit others that are less active or unknown, as in we have their records but we never see them in church. Overall, we just go around and see how everyone's doing and invite them to activities and church meetings. On my mission, I will be serving the Lord in bringing people unto Him and inspiring faith in them.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Nick
Because it shows our faith in Jesus by showing Him that we are willing to sacrifice a little something good for a lot of something better. I always pay my tithing, and even though I donate a chunk of money from my paycheck, I know it's for further funding the work of the Lord, that is helping to bring others unto Him. Show more Show less
