Hi I'm Ace

I live in a small farm town in Utah! I love farming and playing basketball, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I live in a small farm town in Utah. I have a younger sister and a younger brother. My father is a quadriplegic, but that does not stop us from living life to the fullest. My mom is very loving and supportive of everything we do. I enjoy playing basketball with my brother and sister. My brother and I play on our high school basketball team. My family lives on a farm. We grow alfalfa hay, and we raise elk. I love spending time working whether it be tractor work, welding, moving pipe, etc. My brother is always by my side no matter what. My father is also out with us as much as he can be. I love to hunt, I will go with my brother, father, and grandpa throughout the year. I have many different activities I love to do, but nothing comes close to the time I get to spend with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I have grown up in the church. Before I was 12 years old, I piggybacked on my parents testimony of the gospel. Since I have turned 12, I have had many different experiences that are a testimony to me of the truthfulness of the gospel. I am Mormon because I know that nobody is perfect. We all sin at times, and through this gospel we can be forgiven. Heavenly Father knows nobody on earth is perfect, but the great thing is he gives us credit for trying. I know that God has an eternal and infinite love for each and everyone of his children. We are all Gods children. We all have trials, some more extreme then others. I know that if we can persevere and hold strong to our faith, we will be blessed and saved in the last day. I know it can be extremely hard to have an eternal perspective on life, but at times that has been the only thing to get me through. I have committed sins, just as everyone has; and I have had no greater feeling than the one I felt when I had been truly forgiven. I felt clean, and I felt love. I know everyone can feel this same feeling of love, because he offers it to everyone of his children. We do get credit for sincerely trying. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know this because I have studied, pondered, and prayed. "Ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you," I knocked, and God opened unto me. I know we have a prophet of God on the earth today, and his name is Thomas Monson. He leads and guides the church on earth. He has seen and spoke with God the Father, and Jesus the Christ. I know God loves me, and I know God loves you. Seek him out, and you will feel his love.

How I live my faith

Being from a small farm town, I attend a small LDS ward every Sunday. I also enjoy attending youth activities throughout the week. I hometeach four different families with my hometeaching companion. I have grown to love and serve these families because of the time we have spent together. I am also a group leader in our young men's class. I have to opportunity to serve and work with other young men my age. I am responsible to prepare lessons for some Sunday's. I enjoy having the opportunity to teach and learn with these amazing young men. I have also just received my mission call. For two years, I will be serving the people of Brisbane, Australia. I am so excited for this amazing opportunity. I can't tell you how thankful I am for this gospel and the opportunity I have to share that blessing with others!
