Hi I'm Mitchell Hilbig

I'm just an ordinary fella that loves adventure. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played piano for 13 years, and I play cello and guitar as well. I ran cross country and track in high school, but I really enjoy basketball as well. Math is of great interest to me as well as genetics and engineering. I am currently serving a full time LDS mission. Other interests of mine include skiing, wake boarding, crochet, Super Smash Bros., and trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and church membership runs back in my family for four generations. When I was 12 I began to seriously consider my own membership in the church, realizing I needed solid belief in this church in order to remain a member. I chose to continue attending my meetings and working at developing faith in Christ and a belief in his church. Over the course of these last few years, I have had numerous opportunities to develop my testimony of this gospel and to appreciate what the church does for me. I still strive to enlarge my testimony, but I am a member because the church offers me peace, forgiveness, and an eternal perspective on life.

How I live my faith

Currently I have the opportunity to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints in the Massachusetts, Boston Mission. My whole life is dedicated to serving the Lord by loving and serving His children for this period of my life. I study daily to know Christ's teachings and to show God's children how his teachings can make their lives better.
