Hi I'm Elias

I am from California. I am studying Electrical Engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I have traveled outside the country to South America and love Latino Culture. I am a big fan of surfing, skiing, and running in my free time. When it comes to sports, I have participated in anything from gymnastics to soccer to track and field. I play the violin and piano and perform with my siblings every once in a while. I come from a big family and love to spend time in places with warm weather.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my own conversion. I was born into the church but have found out for myself through prayer and fasting that I personally know this gospel to be true. I have a firm belief that families are meant to be together for time and all eternity. This is made possible through sacred covenants and ordinances in the temple that I have personally participated in and because of this, I have a strong love of Mormon temples. I also continue to be a member because of service. I can't get enough of it. I love to serve others and find joy by helping others become happy. It is an aspect of life I can't ever leave. My testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon has led me to become a missionary and preach the gospel to people in foreign countries. I hope to continue to perfect my own qualities and strive to become like Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.

How I live my faith

I have participated in many different service projects including scouting and youth group activities. My church responsibilities include meeting with and serving many of the men and women in my ward. I teach lessons in church very frequently and help plan ward activities. My family and I love to play instruments, sing, and dance at special community events at Christmastime or for other occasions in church meetings. Church and community service has become a big part of my life because of this
