Hi I'm M. Scott

I'm a Utah boy, aspiring doctor, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am from Utah and I like many different things. I love playing sports and most of all running. I love dogs and I love cars. I want to travel the world, which I get to do while preaching the good news of the gospel on a mission for the next two years. I plan on studying Mathematics in college and hope to be a Surgeon by profession, but most of all become the best Husband and Father I can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a mormon. I grew up going to primary and singing, " I am a Child of God", " I Hope They Call Me on a Mission" and " I know That My Redeemer Lives" but now that I have grown up a little bit, I have found the reason why my parents know the LDS church was true. I have read the Book of Mormon and truly have felt the peace of its truth. I love having the Holy Ghost in my life. with out it, I feel empty and confused inside. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and I know that Christ Atoned for all of my weaknesses and sins. Christ is resurrected and He is the center of Gods great plan. I am a Mormon because of the Hope of the resurrection, and the promise that if we prove faithful, I can live with my family forever in my Heavenly Fathers Kingdom and receive my part of the Abrahamic covenant and receive ALL that the lord has and have the Robes of Righteousness around me. I hope to make my God, my Family and myself proud of the service I do for Him. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by primarily trying to follow our Heavenly Fathers first two commandments, loving God, and loving your neibhor. If we focus on loving, we are an example of faith, we serve and look forward to serving, we study and learn from our heavenly Father and our leaders, we have charity towards others. Because of our love, we are firm in our belief and strong in our testimony that the plan of happiness is the plan of Love. Christ is love, and I hope to have his countenece and his spirit about me always as I take his name upon me strive to be like him. Love as He loves, serve as He did, and bring others to His love. That is the key to Happiness and the key to living Christ's faith
