Hi I'm Jose

I'm the third of seven children. I'm a high school student and soccer player. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three brothers and three sisters. I love hanging out with my siblings and family. I like to be physically active, mostly playing soccer. I watch soccer all the time, and like to root for Mexico. Culturally, my family is very latin, even though we don't look it too much. Along with being a High school senior I have a job at a indoor trampoline park where I work about three times a week. In school, I enjoy math but dislike english very much. I want to be a pediatric doctor when I grow up.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the LDS church but really didn't have a testimony till about two years ago. I had made some mistakes and lost my way, but as I worked to repent I learned of the love of our Father in Heaven, and his son Jesus Christ, for us. As I gained a testimony I found a happiness and a meaning to my life that I had never felt or had before. I have chosen to serve a mission so I can help others to find the light of the gospel feel the love of God.

How I live my faith

I am a leader in my youth group. I teach lessons and invite them to come to youth activities with me. I have recently been called as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I leave for El Salvador at the beginning of July to start my service.
