Hi I'm Miranda

I am from Ogden, Utah, and I'm excited to serve as a missionary for my Savior in the Honduras Comayaguela Mission in June 2016.

About Me

I work as a Pharmacy Technician, and I coach a U7 Boys comp soccer team. I love everything sports, but especially soccer. I am currently attending college and am studying Dental Hygiene with a minor in Psychology. I am 19 years old and have been called to serve in the Honduras Comayauguela Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church my whole life, but that doesn't mean I have always had a solid testimony. It is something that took me a long time to develop, and it involved making some mistakes in the past that through the Atonement have helped me know that my Savior is real and that He is there for me. Jesus Christ is my best friend, and I would be lost without Him. I do not regret any of my past transgression because they have helped me develop with my Savior that I would not have without them. I am a Mormon because I know that I am a child of a Heavenly King who knows and loves me more than I can ever imagine. I know that He knows my griefs, my sorrows, my pleadings, and the desires of my heart, and He wants me to come home to Him. Through the Atonement of our loving Savior Jesus Christ, the way has been made possible for us to return. He set the perfect example for us in these latter-days, and it is our sole responsibility to bring ourselves and others back to Him. I am not a Mormon because my parents are Mormon or because it's the popular thing to do where I live. I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ more than anything in this world, and I know that I mean everything to them. I would not be leaving the comfort of my home, my family, my friends, and my country to serve in Honduras for 18 months if I didn't know without a doubt that this is the true church on the Earth today. It is His church, and it is led today by His hand. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet of God and that God speaks through the prophet and his apostles. Our decisions in this life determine our destiny in the life to come, and I could not imagine being anywhere for Eternity except with my Heavenly Father and Mother and my older brother Jesus Christ. Surely, heaven will not be heaven without family, and they are part of my family. It is never too late for anyone to come back to the fold. His arms are outstretched with love and awaiting your grasp.

How I live my faith

I am currently attending a single's ward in my area and serving on the activity's committee. We plan super fun events for the kids in our ward to get together outside of church and create relationships. We organize events such as a big summer trip for the whole ward, as well as little parties and everything in between.
