Hi I'm Trevor

I'm a doodler, a leader, an adventurer, a nerd, and a goofball. I'm currently sharing the gospel in Berlin, Germany. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I am a unique little fella to say the least. I enjoy being around people and cracking jokes that don't always work. I originally lived in West Valley Utah, but I call North Ogden Utah home. I'm a relatively short fella but that does not stop me from making lemonade out of the lemons in my life. I graduated from Weber High School and was involved in theater, student government, and helping those with special needs. I will attend Utah State University (go Aggies) as an ambassador. I plan to study either Animation or Zoology. I have been called to serve in the Germany Berlin Mission which is a blessing and a half, and it is a glorious work. My passions include (but are not limited to) eating (especially Chick-Fil-A), acting on stage, playing ukulele, playing Super Smash Bros., watching movies, trying new things, getting to know new people, camping, drinking Fritz Cola, serving others, and playing volleyball. Some may know me as "The Chaos Emerald". I love the gospel, my family, and my friends with all of my heart. I am a missionary with just one focus: bring others to Christ, no hocus pocus. So yeah, that's me.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I thought you'd never ask! I am a Mormon because it brings me so much peace and joy. The knowledge and power that comes from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is simply phenomenal. I was raised by incredible parents who taught me Mormon values, while still giving me the option to make my own choices. I came to know personally that this is God's true church through diligent study in the scriptures such as The Book of Mormon and the Holy Bible, pondering, weekly church attendance, and sincere and honest prayer. I have received for myself a spiritual witness that the LDS church is truly God's kingdom on the earth today and that Jesus Christ stands at the head. I have, through many personal experiences, come to know how much the Lord loves me and you and wants what is best for us. I am a Mormon because I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us that can make us happier than we can imagine. I am a Mormon because when I get married, I want it to be for eternity. I am a Mormon because I seek happiness. I know that only by accepting and taking part in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ can one find true and everlasting happiness. All in all, that's why I'm a Mormon: because I strive to follow my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I invite you to strive along with me. It ain't the easiest ride, but I promise that it is the most rewarding!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the Lord and my fellow men all that I can. I try and be an example of His gospel in all that I do. I am not shy to share my testimony and I delight in spreading the good word. Each day I try to develop more attributes that our Redeemer Jesus Christ possesses. I am not perfect by any means, but I try my best to do good. I know that the Lord loves all of the people on the earth, so I try to show love to all of those around me. I live my faith by attending Sabbath day services each week, studying the words of God daily, and offering meaningful prayer to my Father in Heaven as much as possible. I live my faith by keeping Heavenly Father's commandments to the best of my ability, and by staying true to the promises that I have made with him. I made the decision to spend two years of my life in full-time service of my Father in Heaven and of the people in Germany. I plan to be on the Lord's errand my entire life. This sure is a church of action, and that is fine by me.
