Hi I'm Clay

I'm a Mormon

About Me

Serving in the Washington Tacoma Mission until May 2018. I love playing guitar, and I'm a bit sad I won't be able to until after my mission. I guess I'll have to learn piano. I also like handwriting. I don't know why, but I just enjoy it. I even recently started writing in cursive, again. I grew up in the church, but over the last year, my testimony has grown so much stronger, as I've recognized God's role in my life. I've realized that I can rely on him all the time. It's just about humbling myself, and remembering that I am nothing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have recognized the incredible saving power of the Atonement. Christ suffered for my sins, so I don't have to. I follow Christ and his teachings, because I know that he is the only one through whom I can be saved. That dependence on him has brought great happiness to my life.

How I live my faith

Before I came on my mission, I taught 9-10 year old children in church. I am now serving a 2-year mission for the purpose of teaching other about the restored Gospel, and helping them come closer to Christ, so that they can be happy in this life, and the next.
