Hi I'm Shannon

I studied chemistry, I love crosswords, and I'm Canadian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I got my BSc degree with chemistry as my major. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Canada Toronto Mission. I hope to pursue a career in forensics. I enjoy doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles in my spare time along with reading and other mind exercising activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's church on the Earth today. That through Joseph Smith the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored to the Earth after having been lost. I have read the Book of Mormon and I have prayed to know if it is true, and I have received through the Holy Ghost the witness that it is truly the word of God. I have felt and seen the difference it has made in my life as it has helped me better my relationship with my Saviour and feel of His love for me. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love me. I know that the commandments are there for our happiness and I have felt immense peace and joy come into my life as I repent of my wrongdoings and live the Lord's commandments. I know the importance of daily scripture study and prayer, and that if you are struggling with anything doing these two things will strengthen you that with the Lord's help you can work through your problems and overcome your struggles. I know Jesus Christ to be my Saviour and Redeemer, that he took upon him my sins and that because of His Atonement I can be healed spiritually and physically and overcome both spiritual and physical death. I know that Heavenly Father wants to bless us with every good thing and that we must be obedient to Him to qualify for all those blessings.

How I live my faith

I seek to set an example for others, to testify of the truths that I have learned, and to invite others to draw nearer to Christ.
