Hi I'm Liahona

I was a singer-rapper-dancer-songwriter. I gave up my career to serve a full-time mission. I love the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dream chaser. My family and I sacrificed a lot for me to reach my dreams. Apparently, it isn't God's will for me to pursue my entertainment and show business career. I was about to debut with my girl group for our first single album, when things happened. Eventually, I received some personal revelations that I should pursue my desire to serve a full-time mission instead. My family isn't rich, but I can say that we are rich with the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. And with that wealth that we do have, I want to share it to the world. I want the world to have the happiness that I have in the gospel of Christ. I want them to know the purpose of life and the plan of our Father in Heaven for all of us. This life is not the end. I know that we will live with Him again. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loves us so much. At a young age, I've been through quite a lot. But I always remind myself that: I am NEVER alone. I believe and know that He do visit His children in their afflictions and difficulties. We just need to be sensitive in recognizing Him. About me... all I can say is that I am a daughter of my Father in Heaven who loves me as I love Him. I'm not perfect, yet, but I know that as I endure to the end, I will be living with Him again. I have my own weaknesses I need to work on, but with Him, I know I will overcome all things. Life may be hard at times, really hard, but always remember to kneel down and pray.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon all my life. I was born into a Mormon family. I admit that there came a day when I doubted my faith and the church. Pres. Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the First Presidency of the church taught, "Doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith". Indeed, he was truly right. I prayed and prayed if what I believed in was true. I received my answers with the manifestations of the Spirit, and I testify that the truth is already laid before me, before us. In order to find it or recognize it, we must search, ponder, and pray. I testify that the fullness of the everlasting gospel of Christ is found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is His church. I testify that God would cease to be God if He only sent prophets in the ancient times, and nothing in our days. But He loves his children and so, up to this day, we still have a living prophet who guides us, and directs us, and invites us to come unto Christ. I invite you to pray and exercise faith in Christ. Ask for the truth, with pure heart and purest intent, and it shall be given unto you. I testify that God answers our prayers. He listen to our hearts and knows our desires. He wants us to come unto Him and follow Him, for He is our only way to go back to our heavenly home. I testify that these few things I shared are true. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently the Youth Sunday School Teacher in our branch. I am also one of the Branch Missionaries. I love helping people find their way back into Christ. I love to share the gospel to everyone, especially to those who are interested in my faith. I love attending the church every Sunday for it gives me peace, comfort, and healing. I also find joy, happiness and learning in every church activities (i.e. camping). I work with the full-time missionaries, also. It's amazing how wonderful the gospel of Jesus Christ is! I hope and pray that a lot of people will open their hearts for Christ's gospel and be ready to receive it. My faith is my wealth and treasure; without it, I wouldn't be who I am today. I just couldn't imagine myself living a life without the gospel. It is my compass to life everlasting. I will be in God's errand as one of His missionaries at New Zealand Hamilton Mission. I will be leaving to the Provo Missionary Training Center (MTC) this June 2016. The field is indeed white, already to harvest, even in Hamilton! God speed.
