Hi I'm Taylor

I grew up in Kaysville, Utah. My goal is to enter the Medical Field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into the church, my family have all been members for several generations. I am currently 18 years old and preparing to serve a full time mission in the Peru Cusco Mission. My family consists of my dad, mom, me, and two younger brothers. Being the oldest of three boys can be challenging as time but is very rewarding to see my brothers learn as I try to be an example to them. I recently graduated from high school, where I spent a great deal of time studying areas in the medical field. My goal upon returning from serving a full time mission is to attend college and become a surgeon. I enjoy hunting, fishing, traveling with my family, and trying new things. I love to visit new places, try new foods, and have fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. Growing up, it always felt like church was the place I should be but it wasn't until I started to gain a testimony of the church that I really realized why I am a member. As life began to happen and I went through all sorts of trials, I began to rely on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for guidance. As I did this, I began to know him. I began to understand that I needed to have him as a part of my life every single day! I now have a testimony that Jesus Christ is our brother and through him and because of him we are able to be perfected. I have a testimony that The Book of Mormon is the most correct book on the Earth today and was translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that he saw God the Father and his son Jesus Christ and that through them he was able to restore Christ's Church on the earth today. I know that we have a prophet who is called of God to declare his word on the earth today. If we follow him, we will be blessed beyond measure and receive the eternal blessings of happiness that are available by doing so. As we strive every single day to be better and follow our savior Jesus Christ, we will achieve true happiness. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ and that through the gospel we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again someday!

How I live my faith

Living the gospel is something that never ends. The gospel is all about trying your best every single day to be the very best that you can be. I strive every single day to better myself and to serve those around me. By serving, I am not only benefiting the people receiving the service, but also myself. In the church I have had the tremendous privilege of serving as the Deacons quorum secretary and president, the Priest Quorum First Assistant, as well as a home teacher. Every single one of these callings have enabled me to live my faith by serving those around me. I not only live my faith by serving others, I also live it by following the counsel of our prophet and his counselors. By doing this, I am able to follow our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
