Hi I'm Nefi Guevara

I'm a beast at what I do. I am talented, hardworking, studious, and a good friend! I'm attending BYU-Idaho! I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm Nefi. I am preparing for a mission currently, 03/31/2016. I love to dance, sing, playing sports, hanging out, doing cool stuff. I enjoy doing anything with good company! I love my family and we put God #1 in our lives. I'm 19 years old and I want and will become a cardio-thoracic surgeon!!! I go to BYU-Idaho and I'm loving life!

Why I am a Mormon

"Ser Mormon es ser feliz" I have great parents that teach and praise the truth. You can feel their guidance and their faith pass on to their children (me) and my sister and you see that it can't possibly be false what they believe in. Now reading it for myself, I'm growing my testimony of the church. It is truly a blessing to have a strong family. I wouldn't want to be no where else but in the comfort of being in the Church that has the only true power and authority of God. Through the Prophet Joseph Smith, the church has been restored with all the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You will see for yourself what it means to be a Mormon and how happy you will be to learn for yourself how amazing it truly is. No one will be able to question your faith but your self, if you have doubt don't let it eat you, learn and ask of God as James 1:5 says. I love God, my family, my friends I've selected, and my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith righteously, and with the Book of Mormon as my Book of testimony. I know these things are true for I have felt the spirit calm my soul and enjoy such an amazing book of knowledge filled with truths. I go to church, attended seminary for two years due to circumstances but now I'm loving it at BYU-Idaho! And even though I've been there for a semester, I enjoyed the friends I made and the welcoming and warm environment! I just love it, a little bit like Georgia! :D

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Nefi Guevara
No, Mormons aren't required to serve it's a privilege to be able to serve for two years(mens). I love serving others, and I truly want the gospel in people's lives because I know it will bring them joy for generations on generations. The satisfaction and the the prize I obtain is a smile on someone's face or tears of happiness seen through the eyes of those I shall teach. The lord knows my intentions and I want to sacrifice two years to help those that may need me in their life. I'm already imagining the faces of those who will be taken by the spirit to understand their purpose in life, and the happiness that the Lord wants all his children to have while on Earth. We are here temporarily and our days are counted on Earth. I love the Lord and my older brother, the savior, Jesus Christ, amen. Show more Show less
