Hi I'm Deb

I'm a wife, mother of five married daughters, grandmother of 12 and I love to make quilts. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be with my family. My husband and I have an empty nest, but love the chaotic joy that happens when our children and grandchildren come to visit. I enjoy quilting and everything connected to it. I enjoy owning and working on vintage sewing machines. I also am very involved in Genealogy and preserving the precious family documents and pictures that we have inherited. I love to hike in southern Utah and enjoy the beauty all around us.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a member of the church and I was blessed and baptized when I was young. I felt the love of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ at a young age, and have always had the desire to please them. I'm thankful for the Holy Ghost and the peace he brings to me on a daily basis. Through my adult years I've had many precious experiences that have confirmed my beliefs into knowledge that our Heavenly Father knows each of us individually, He want each of us to choose the right way to be able to live with Him eternally. He has given us a plan - the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ and our repentance, we can live with Him again. I'm thankful for the Holy Ghost and the peace he brings to me on a daily basis.

How I live my faith

Daily communication with my Heavenly Father through prayer is essential to help me find joy. My husband and I currently assist our local congregation of our church by assisting in Baptisms. We also enjoy our home teaching and visiting teaching assignments. We love to visit with our neighbors and give service in any way we feel we can in our community.
