Hi I'm Livy Andrus

I was born and raised in Utah. I have been called to serve as a sister missionary in the Tahiti, Pape'ete mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently studying life in college (which means I can't decide on a major). I love to watch movies, sew, and eat cookies on a regular basis. I have five younger brothers that I adore, and I have a strong passion for education. My dream job would be to teach the English language abroad. I love to play the piano and sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this religion, and it has made me happy all my life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope and purpose, two things that are crucial for me if I want to progress in any project I take on. Mostly, the Gospel gives me confidence. Confidence that I can live a righteous life and be able to return back to my Father in Heaven. Confidence that I am surrounded by supporting friends and family. Confidence that even when I mess up, I will ALWAYS get a second chance. I love knowing that my Heavenly Father will never give up on me, even if the rest of the world does, because often this is enough to get me through even my hardest of days. This Gospel comforts me in times of need and provides a reason for all the trials I and other around me have to face. It is beautifully simple and simply beautiful.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I accompanied the congregation on the organ as they sang during church meetings. Sometimes I would play for the entire ward, but sometimes I would only play for the children. I was also in charge of planning small group activities every Monday night for family night. Whenever possible, I attend ward parties or get-togethers, which are always lots of fun!
