Hi I'm Jared Bledsoe

Simply put, Mormonism is my way of life. It is the restored church of Jesus Christ and I do my best to follow its precepts.

About Me

I do my best to be righteous (which involves a lot of repenting) and try to be like Jesus. Currently, I am a LDS missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because it makes sense. As promised in the introduction and said so eloquently by Joseph smith, "I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.” That sounds like a pretty good deal. Furthermore in the Book of Mormon, a prophet named Moroni says, "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." (Moroni 10:4-5). I did what Moroni has exhorted us to do. And I recieved my answer. That is why I'm Mormon.

How I live my faith

I feel like for me to live by faith means to repent. Repentance simply put is to change. When we have faith we change because we believe that is why we are here.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Jared Bledsoe
We believe that we are saved by grace. That's what Christ did for us. So we must choose to accept it. The question then is "how are we changed by grace?" We try our best to change to become more Christlike as we repent. We do not pay the price for our sins but we do all that we can to become like Christ. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

Jared Bledsoe
The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It takes place in the Americas, and contains the history of the religious teachings in that area. Simply put it testifies of Christ and his teachings. For me it is a way to study and become more like Christ. Show more Show less
