Hi I'm Cameron

I have live in West Jordan Utah my whole life. I love this church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love art and music. I absolutely love to draw and hope to one day work for Disney Pixar. I also love music! While I can't play any instruments, I do love to listen to all types of music. I have been to more concerts then I can count.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a part of the church my whole life, it has blessed me in more ways then I could ever begin to count. A lot of people think that I am a member of this church because I grew up in it. Well that isn't entirely true. I think that everyone needs to be converted to the church including those who have grown up in it. I have prayed, and asked my Heavenly Father if this church is true, and at first my answer did not come. I began to feel doubtful, but instead of turning away, I studied the scriptures more and prayed every day! It didn't come all at once, but slowly over time I received my answer. I know this church is true and I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who just wants to help us to return to him. I know that because of this, he has provided us with modern day prophets to lead and guide us. I know that whoever asks God for help they will receive it.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing for my mission. I am a Sunday School teacher for the 8 years olds, and I also work in the Temple!

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Cameron
The Atonement is where Christ came down to the Earth to die for us. He has felt everything we have, or ever will feel. He knows us perfectly, and he loves us perfectly. He felt unimaginable pain. What he did is too much to ask anyone, but we didn't have to ask. He did it so we could one day return to our loving Heavenly Father. There is no other way we can happy eternal or never ending happiness. We can only return to him through Christ's Atonement. Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Cameron
We are asked to donate 10% so we can help build up the church. The money goes towards building temples, church buildings and local activities put forward by church organizations. When we pay tithing we are promised blessings, more blessings then we will be able to receive. If we pay tithing we will always have enough! Show more Show less
