Hi I'm Alainna Snow

I am from Oceanside California. I am studying to be a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student and studying to become a nurse. My ultimate goal is to be a nurse practitioner for pediatrics. I love kids. I taught English to children in China for four months and absolutely loved it. I love to play the guitar and exercise and I have a weakness for chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church but in my teenage years I fell away for a time. I never doubted that God existed I just wasn't sure about what church was true. One day I decided to hang around people from church instead of my friends from school. All of the Mormon youth that I was around were so happy all the time and had confidence in who they were. They were such examples to me and I wanted to experience the same happiness and confidence that they had. So I decided to pray to my Father in Heaven and open up the Book of Mormon and read to find the truth for myself. The more I read the closer I felt to my Father in Heaven and my Savior. I came to an understanding of who I was and the potential and purpose of my life. I repented and felt the true joy and happiness that comes from knowing who I am and knowing who Jesus Christ is. As I continued to read and to pray about the truth of the Book of Mormon I had an overwhelming feeling of peace and happiness. I began to grow and succeed in my life as I relied on my Father in Heaven. I testify the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that God loves each and every one of us and wants us to be successful in life. I know that through reading the Book of Mormon and creating a relationship with our Father in Heaven and our Savior our lives can change and we can be filled with true and everlasting Joy.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I have the privilege of teaching little four year olds about Jesus Christ. They are such a joy to be around and make me laugh all the time. I also visit teach women in my church to see how they are doing and be a friend. I love to be around the women of my church they are strong in their faith and it strengthens mine even more when I am surrounded by them. I think getting lost in service to others is the best way to come closer to Christ. I truly love the people in my church and know that each one of them are loved by our Heavenly Father.
