Hi I'm Eric

I am a Mormon. I grew up mainly in Kalispell, Montana and am currently preparing to serve in Singapore for a 2 year mission

About Me

I love theatre, yes it is spelt correctly, I am not so much an actor but a technician but, nonetheless I love every part of the world of theatre. Also I am a musician of sorts being that I play the guitar and have had some vocal training as a tenor 2. Other bits about me is that I currently hold an Associate of Arts degree from FVCC focused mainly in theatre (surprise, surprise).

Why I am a Mormon

For the most part I was raised in the church all of my immediate family is Mormon however there a couple of those that have fallen away from the church. I shortly followed suit and for many years rebelled against the gospel not to destroy the church but more that I was not living the standards I should have been. One day as I was scrolling through Facebook I seen that one of my old friends from when I lived in Utah was serving his mission in my home mission and long story short he was able to come and see me one day and asked me if I was going to church I told him I wasn't but would like to by the end of the year in which I did with the help of more than a few friends was able to come back and learn to not only live but also LOVE the gospel and more about really everything than I could have ever imagined.

How I live my faith

I am currently am one of the counselors/ stand in leaders within in my Young Single Adult (YSA) branch of the LDS church in which I help plan activities for my fellow members as well as I regularly get the opportunity to teach lessons concerning the gospel. Furthermore one of my favorite things to do on Sundays after church is to go out with my branch's missionaries and help them teach lessons to those who are learning more about the gospel or looking into for the first time.
