Hi I'm Evan

I was born and raised in Arizona. I love sports. I'm serving a mission from May 2016-2018 in Concepcion, Chile. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am an avid sports fan. I'm just finishing my first year of college before I go on my mission. My younger brother and I share the same birthday, 4 years apart, same day! I have grown up in the LDS church, however, both my parents are converts, so it's different with my whole family not being LDS. I still love them a whole lot though. I'm excited to be able to serve a mission and help others in any way that I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because I have to but because I love being a Mormon. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, so much. There is so much joy that one can have from being a part of this Gospel. The greatest joy one can ever have on Earth can be found through this Church. I love how it is for everyone and can be unique to each person's situation. So many good things can come from being a Mormon. You are able to have hope for better days no matter what may be going on. My faith in Jesus Christ has helped me to know that I'm not perfect and I don't have to be. Putting our faith in Christ and doing all that we can will result in an uplifting, hopeful and just plain wonderful life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by just trying to be the best person I can be. I look up to the ultimate example in all things constantly, and that is Jesus Christ. By trying each day to be more like Him in all that I do, I have seen a significant change in my life. I have an increase of hope, faith and love for everyone around me. My faith in Jesus Christ has changed my life and continues to do so. I consider myself so blessed to be able to have the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and know that through Christ, all things can be possible.
