Hi I'm Clayton

I'm from New Zealand. I'm Maori/European. I love rugby. I have been called to serve in the Utah, Logan mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy working out and sports in general! Food is always on my mind and spending time with family, friends and loved ones is super important to me. I have a lot of ambition! I truly feel that I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 15 I prayed and asked Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon was true. As promised I received an answer through the power of Holy Ghost. Galatians 5:22 talks about the fruits of the Spirit, these were the emotions which overwhelmed me... Immediately I knew the church was true. Everything we believe in, any concern that anyone has all weighs on whether the Book of of Mormon is true or not. It requires a bit of faith, sincerity and intent but God promises with that you will receive an answer that it is true.

How I live my faith

A quote i try and live by.. "Be that kind of person that when your knees hit the floor in morning the devil says.. Oh no he's up" I marvel at the example set by my Savior and I strive to follow him!

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

To Nicodemus the Savior says ".. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." - John 3:5 Ultimately we want everyone to live with God again and the Savior makes it clear, baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost are essential. I think of it much like a passport and visa, we need each of these documents to be valid and in order before entering a new country. likewise when we are are baptized and given the gift of the Holy Ghost by a man holding the authority of God we may enter the kingdom of God upon continued faithfulness!
