Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I run Track and Cross Country in college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the church and run Track and Cross Country in college. I haven't decided on a major but am leaning towards Family Life and Human Development. This is my first year in college and have loved living on my own, though I do miss my family sometimes. I have a twin brother, three younger sisters, and two loving parents. I was adopted into this wonderful family with my brother when we were 5. I love to draw, read, and write in my spare time. I love the outdoors, and more specifically magnificent views of the sunset.

Why I am a Mormon

I have stayed active in the church because it brings me peace and comfort when I am going through a rough time, and it brings me happiness that can be found nowhere else in this world. I have come to know that God lives and that his son, Jesus Christ, came to this earth and atoned for our sins to give us a way to live with our Father in heaven again. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet, holds all of the Priesthood keys and receives revelation from God to carry out His work today. This church has forever changed my life and I am eternally grateful for it.

How I live my faith

When living with my family I had several callings to be a leader of our youth groups. I help out with organizing church activities for other young adults in my current ward. I try to be an example of Christ for others who might be looking for one. I have been called to serve as a missionary and look forward to bringing the light of Christ to others.
