Hi I'm Diana

I'm super short but my spirt is a big package.I know my redeemer lives and I love him and he loves me.

About Me

Hello (: It's very hard trying to talk about myself; but I remember that my 9th grade ceramics teacher gave all of her students a word that best describes them, and my word was spunky. I enjoy learning new things and always trying to be better. I'm always up for new experiences, adventures and challenges. I love being outdoors being home is not my favorite thing especially during the summer in Utah. I love Utah and all it has to offer there are some very fun amazing things that nature here in Utah has to offer that not many people know about. I love making new friends and meeting new people. To me every human being is just so unique. I was nominated Girl Senior Class Clown when I graduated from Copper Hills High School 2015. I'm going to serve in the San Fernando California Mission, never did I thought of serving a mission, but hey if you want to make Heavenly father laugh tell him your plans. When I return from my mission I plan on learning a new language, I'm bilingual (Spanish and English) I would love to learn ASL and teach children ASL. I come from a family of 4, plus my mom and dad I am the oldest. That should be it for now

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert. I moved to Utah when I was 12, I used to live in Phoenix, Arizona. I had never heard of the LDS church in my life, although I do remember that in my English class in the 6th grade we were talking about religion, and one girl asked "What is Mormon?" and my English teacher said to stay away from the Mormon's. Moving up to Utah I didn't know that Utah was the LDS headquarters. So when we finally got to our house, we began remodeling and one of our neighbors would always come over and help my dad out. My neighbor is a member of the church and my dad would ask him many questions about the church. So our neighbor decide to send the missionaries right over. The day Hermana De La Cruz and Hermana Reyes knocked on our door 7 years ago, my life changed forever; and forever will I be grateful that we opened up our home to welcome God into our life's and his perfect gospel. The church is amazing it is the best get away from reality, it's a righteous life style, and it's perfect.

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the youth as I am the 2nd councilor for the young woman, which is a calling I have always wanted since I was a convert and in the young woman at the time. At a time in my life I did deactivate from the church I like to refer that time as my dark times, but one day my dad sat down and talked to me and stated that I needed to start going to church or else I would be kicked out of the house. That really scared me because I was 17 at the time and worked in the fast food industry making minimum wage. So I started going to church, I began with just going to sacrament, and then I started staying all 3 hours. I began to let the sprit back in and really listening to the word of God. Doing so I learned that I cry a lot and that sometimes you can't sleep at night because it's God's way of telling you that he needs to talk to you, and sometimes that's all it takes. Choosing and living righteously is not an easy thing there are so many test and tribulations that come your way, but it's always up to you, to chose what you want to do, and God trust you that you will make the best choice. If you make a mistake it's okay but it's also up to you to clean up your mess. Life is not easy, but the journey is a beautiful thing.
